Then 3x-2x = $40
x = 40
Then, the problem becomes very easy
2 x 40 = $80
3 x 40 = $120
9 x 40 = $360
Total money = $ 80 + $120 + $360 = $560
There is also a second method
40 (2+3+9)
= 40 x 14
= $560
