Remaining money = X - 1/5X
= 4/5X
Mr. Mehta's share = 1/4 * 4/5X
= X/5
Mr. Gupta's share = X - ( 1/5X + X/5 )
= X - 2/5X
= 3/5X

3/5X = 1800
X = 1800 * 5/3
= 600 * 5
= 3000

Value of X is Rupees 3000 .
