Answer:

Given:-

Mass of box ,m = 50kg

Time ,t = 2s

Initial velocity ,u = 0m/s

Final velocity ,v = 10m/s

To Find:-

Magnitude of Force ,F

Solution:-

According to the Question

Firstly we calculate the acceleration produce in the box when force was applied on it .

a = v-u/t

where,

v is the final velocity

a is the acceleration

u is the initial velocity

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

:\implies:⟹ a = 10-0/2

:\implies:⟹ a = 10/2

:\implies:⟹ a = 5m/s²

Now, calculating the magnitude of Force .

Force is calculated by the product of mass & acceleration

F = ma

where,

F denote force

m denote mass

a denote acceleration

Substitute the value we get

:\implies:⟹ F = 50×5

:\implies:⟹ F = 250 N

Hence, the magnitude of force was 250 Newton.
