A certain freezing process requires that room temperature be lowered from 40°C at the rate
of 5°C per hour. What will be the room temperature 12 hours after the process begins?​

in one hour it lowers 5 C = - 5

so in twelve hours = 5 × 12 = -60

present temperature = 40

after 12 hours = 40 - 60 = - 20°C
