A certain freezing process requires that room temperature be lowered from 40°C at

the rate of 5°C every hour. What will be the room temperature 10 hours after the

process begins?​

room temperature is being lowered at the rate of 5C per hour

then, after 10 hours the temperature will be 40-5(10)

that is, -10 C

ans=(-10 C)

as the temperature drops 5 C every hour

after 10 hrs it would drop 5*10=50 C

starting temperature was 40

so final temperature = starting temp + final temp

=40+ (-50)

= (-10) C
