Question

A certain freezing process requires that room temperature be lowered than 40 degree celcius at the rate of 5 degree celcius every hr. what will be the room temp. after 10 hrs?

Answer

Initial temperature : 40°C

Rate of change in temperature : 5°C/hr

Time : 10 hours

So,in 10 hours the time would be decreased = 10 × 5 = 50°C

.°.So the final temperature = 40°C - 50°C

= -10 °C
