Answer ⤵️

Initial Temperature = 40° C

Rate of change in temperature = 5°C/hour

Time = 10 hours

So, in 10 hours the temperature would be decreased by 10*5 = 50°C.

So, Final Temperature = 40 - 50  =  - 10°C

Answer:

10 degree C

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that the lowered temperature as negative,

Initial temperature = 40degree C

Change in temperature per hour = -5degree C

Change in temperature after 10 hours = (-5) × 10 = -50degree C

∴The final room temperature after 10 hours of freezing process = 40degree C + (-50degree C)

= -10degree C

The room temperature 10 hours after the process begins= -10oC
