A certain job was assigned to a group of women to do it in 20 days. But 12 women did not turn up for the job and the remaining did the job in 32 days. The original number of women in the group was?

So.....
For inverse data the formula is:-
x¹ * y¹ = x² * y²
Here... :-
x¹= X
y¹= 20days
x² = X-12
y² = 32 days

X * 20 =( X-12) * 32
X*20 = 32X - 384
20X = 32X - 384
20X - 32X = - 384
-12X = - 384
X= - 384/-12
X = 32 women
