A certain material of mass 6.25g and volume 25cc is placed in a beaker containing water. Determine whether this material will sink or float in water? (Density of water is 1g/cc). Explain your answer.

 \frac{mass}{volume}

Density :-

 \frac{6.25}{25}  = 0.25

0.25g/cc

The density of a material is less than the density of water
