let tens digit be x.
and ones digit be y.
a/q
8(x+y)=10x+y
8x+8y=10x+y
10x-8x=8y-y
2x=7y
x=7y/2. ............(1)
again
a/q
x-y=5
from equation 1
7y/2-y=5
7y-2y/2=5
5y/2=5
5y=5*2
5y=10
y=10/5
y=2 ...............(2)
putting equation(2) in equation(1)
x=7y/2
x=7*2/2
x=7
therefore, tens digit =x =7
and ones digit =y=2
so the number =10x+y=10*7+2=72
and ones digit be y.
a/q
8(x+y)=10x+y
8x+8y=10x+y
10x-8x=8y-y
2x=7y
x=7y/2. ............(1)
again
a/q
x-y=5
from equation 1
7y/2-y=5
7y-2y/2=5
5y/2=5
5y=5*2
5y=10
y=10/5
y=2 ...............(2)
putting equation(2) in equation(1)
x=7y/2
x=7*2/2
x=7
therefore, tens digit =x =7
and ones digit =y=2
so the number =10x+y=10*7+2=72
