a certain number of people can finish a piece of work in 70 days. if there are 20 men less , it would take 10 days more for the same work to be finished . how many workers were there in starting .

if 20 men can do a work of 10 days.then obviously to complete this work in 80 days it will require=8×20=160 men.but here he asking about the numbers of men who were in the start ,then it would be =7×20=140,
means,if 10 days work can done by 20 men(who left). then 70 days work can done by =70/10×20=140
7:1×20=140
