A certain number of two Rupee coins and a certain number of five rupee coins in a piggy bank of a child amount to rupees 47 .If the number of each kind are interchanged they would amount to Rs.3 less than before .Find the number of coins of each kind.​

Answer:

let the no. of two rupees coin's be x and no.of five rupees coins be y.

According to the question;

2x+5y= 47.......(1)

A.T.Q;

5x +2y= 47-3

5x+2y= 44......(2)

From the equation first and second;

y=7 and x= 6

Hence the no.of two rupees coins is 6 and the no. of five rupees coins is 7.
