Let the number be 'X'
X/602=== Remainder = 36

X/14=== Remainder = ?
602 is divisible by '14'. Hence the remainder will be the same as the remainder obtained by dividing the remainder 36 by 14
 Hence remainder = 36/14 = 8.
[Its coz , 602 is a multiple of 14. Hence the quotient obtained while dividing 'X' by 602 will be perfectly divisible by '14'.So we have to check only the remainder part]

An illustration:
Consider a  number 82 and divisors 54 and 18. [we can see 54 is a multiple of 18]
82/54== Remainder = 28
82/18 == Remainder = 10
Now ,check: Remainder 28 divided by 18 gives u the same remainder as the number 82 is divided by 18.

So final answer = 8
Hope it helps.
