a certain quantity of wood costs rupees 250 per m^3.A solid block of such wood is bought for rupees 182.25.Calculate the volume of the block and use the method of factors to find the length of one edge of the block

the cost of a solid cubical block fine wood costs Rs256

Rs500 per m³

its volume &the length of each side is required whereby;

cost of 1000000cm³ of block=Rs500

1m³=1000000cm³

volume of the block in Rs256

1000000*256/500=512000cm³

length of the block=512000^1/3=80cm³
