A certain sample of a gas has a volume of 0.452L measure at 87°C and 0.620 atm. What is it's volume at 1 atm and 0°C. Note convert your answer to DL and Mils

convert temperature into K

PV = nRT

P₁V₁/T₁ =P₂V₂/T₂

V₂ = P₁V₁T₂/T₁P₂

    = 0.620 × 0.452 × 273/ 360 × 1

    = 76.50/360

    = 0.215 L

1 L = 10 DL

∴ 0.215 L = x

x = 10 × 0.215

  = 2.15 DL OR 2.15 × 10⁻⁴ ml
