So,

The number of 50 rupees notes = Total number of notes - Number of 100 rupees notes

$x + (60 - x) = 60 \: notes$

Value of x notes of ₹100= ${\bf{100x~ rupees}}$

Value of (60-x) notes of ₹50 = ${\bf{50(60-x) ~rupees}}$
