Solution----> Let, cost of one chair and cost of one table be x and y respectively.

Now, ATQ,

Cost of chair + Cost of one table = 100

=> x + y = 100

=> y = 100 - x

ATQ, Cost of chair = Cost of table - 16

=> x = y - 16

Now , putting y = 100 - x in it , we get ,

=> x = 100 - x - 16

=> x + x = 100 - 16

=> 2x = 84

=> x = 84 / 2

=> x = 42

Now, y = 100 - x

putting x = 42 in it , we get,

=> y = 100 - 42

=> y = 58

So , cost of table = y
