HERE IS EXPLAINATION:

GIVEN: q=5×10^-5 C

F=1N

r=2m

q=q1+q2

Therefore, 5×10^-5 C = q1+q2

And this implies q2=5×10^-5 ........equation(1)

F=1/4pie€ × q1q2/r^2

=10×10^9×q1q2/4

=0.4/9×10^9×q1q2

0.4/9×10^9=q1(5×10^-5-q1).....[from equation(1)]

0.4/9×10^9=5×10^-5q1-q1^2

Therefore,q1^2-5×10^-5q1+0.4=0

On solving above quadratic equation we get required answer fof q1=3.8×10^-5 C

And q=q1+q2

Therefore,5×10^-5=3.8×10^-5+q2

And hence ,q2=1.2×10^-5 C
