So repulsion force,

F=d2kq(Q−q)

here, Q and d are constant so for maximum force differentiate the force w.r.t q,

dqdF=d2k(Q−2q)

For maximum force, dqdF=0

                   d2k(Q−2q)=0

                           Q−2q=0

                                   qQ=2
