Actually this is the concept of the electrosatics. .......
basically electric flux is nothing but the number of electric field line passing through any surface......outwards.....to the area vector ....
that is
Phi = E.A....
basically for a closed surface the electric flux is q/E○.....
but here only there is one effective surface....thus the flux is
q/E○ x 1/6 ==== q/6E○......
