your question is incomplete. A complete question is ----> A charge 'q' is moved from a point A above a dipole of dipole moment 'p' to a point B below the dipole in equatorial plane without acceleration. Find the work done in the process.

solution : workdone = q(V_B-V_A)

here, V_A is potential at point A and V_B is potential at point B.

because A is placed as same distance from dipole as B.

so, potential at A = potential at B

so, V_B-V_A=0

hence, workdone on the charge = q × 0 = 0

hence, answer is 0.
