A charge ‘q' is placed at the center of a cube of side . What is the electric flux passing through each face of the cube? Two charges of magnitudes -2q and + q are located at points (a,0) and (4a,0) respectively. What is the electric flux due to these charges through a sphere of radius '3a' with its center at the origin?

flux through cube is q/£°

flux through each face q /6£°

in Gauss law , we consider only that charges , which are present inside the gaussian surface !!

so -2q is inside , whereas q is outside !!

so the flux is 2q/£° and direction in inward
