I think the motion you are describing is... that
When a charged particle enters into an external magnetic field which is perpendicular to its motion.. Then the force which acts on it is always perpendicular to its velocity..
That's why, it performs a uniform circular motion and in that motion the Kinetic energy of the particle does not changes..
I. e. Energy remains constant..
