Given :

The value of charge , q = 2C

The value of the magnetic field , B = 10 î T

The velocity of the particle , v = 2 î m/s

To find :

The magnitude of the magnetic force .

Solution :

Magnetic force , F = q * ( v x B ) = q * v * B * sinθ

where , θ is the angle between velocity and magnetic field vector .

Now,

F = 2 * 2 * 10 * sin 0

=> F = 0 N

The magnitude of the magnetic force acting on the charged particle is zero .
