charity distribution was held in a school let the no. of books distributed be x

1/3 of the x was distributed to class 10th students

1/4 of the x was distributed to class 9th students

1/5 of the x was distributed to class 8th students

and still 130 books were remaining so we can say that

(1/3+1/4+1/5) part of x = x-130 books

3,4,5 LCM = 60

1/3×20/20=20/60

1/4×15/15=15/60

1/5×12/12=12/60

20+15+12/60=47/60

so 130 books = 60-47/60

=13/60

130÷13 =10 so we will multiply 10

20×10 = 200

15×10 = 150

12×10 = 120

13×10 = 130

Hence total no. of books are 600

books distributed to class 10th = 200

books distributed to class 9th = 150

books distributed to class 8th = 120

books distributed in total among class 10th, 9th, 8th

= 200+150+120 = 470

Hope this was helpful
