A charity trust decides to bluild the prayer hall having a carpet area of 300 square metres with its length one more than twice its breadth. Form a quadratic equation with variable x and cost of per square metres is rupess 10.

(plzz help me with this question I am in trouble)

(I know you will wonder why am I posting it in science sec cause no one is there in maths sec so plzz help me I need it urgently if you know it then ans otherwise thanku btw I am in 10th!!!!)​

I don't really understand what you are looking for in the question you posted but this is what I got out of it:

1. Let x be the breadth and length be 2x + 1

Length x Breadth = Area of a rectangle

(2x + 1)  *       x       =          300  

       x(2x + 1)           =           300  

       2x^2 + x          =  300  

Change to general quadratic form i.e ax^2 + bx + c = 0

2x^2 + x = 300

Subtract 300 from both sides

2x^2 +x - 300 = 0

2. Square metre = 300

Cost per square metre = 10 rupees

Total cost = 300 x 10 = 3000 rupees
