Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of chart be x rs.

And, cost of markers be y rs.

1st Equation :-

=> x + y = 100

2nd Equation :-

=> y = 90 + x

Now, put the value of y in eq. 1

=> x + 90 + x = 100

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5 (cost of chart)

=> y = 100 - 5

=> y = 95 ( cost of markers)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of the chart=x

And cost of the markers =y

From the problem,

X+Y=100

Y=90+X

X+90+X=100

2X=10

X=5

Y=100-5

Y=95

Cost of the chart is 5 RS

Cost of the markers is 95 RS
