     v = u+at

     v  = 0 +4 *10

         =  40

(b) distance (s) = ?

                   s    = ut + at^2

                    s   = 0*t +4*10*10

                   s   =  0 +  400

                   s   =  400

hence the distance covered by the cheetah is 400 m
