Explanation:

acceleration (a) = 4m/s^2

initial velocity (u) = 0

final velocity  ( v) = ?

(a)  time (t) = 10 s

     v = u+at

     v  = 0 +4 *10

         =  40

hence, the velocity attained in 10 sec is 40 m/s

(b) distance (s) = ?

                   s    = ut + at^2

                    s   = 0*t +4*10*10

                   s   =  0 +  400

                   s   =  400

hence the distance covered by the cheetah is 400 m
