Hi,

Here is your answer

Given:

Distance=250m

Velocity=Speed=90km/hr=25m/s

To Find:

Time taken

Solution:

Time is given by the equation

Time=Distance/Speed

Substituting the given datas in the equation

We get,

Time=250/25

Time=10s

Notes:

1. Remember to convert all the given datas to the SI units before calculating.

2. Speed is defined as the distance travelled per unit time. It's unit is m/s. It is a scalar quantity.

Hope this helps you.

90km/h = 90 x (5/18 ) = 25m/s

now , s = 250m and average speed is 25m/s

so, the time take is = 250 / 25 = 10s
