A chemist needs to add 1.8 g of glucose to a reaction mixture. What volume in mL of 1.5 M glucose solution he should use for the addition?

Molarity,M = w2 ×1000/m2×V

Where w2 is the mass of solute taken in g, m2 is the Molar mass of solute and V is the volume taken in mL

1.5M = 1.8×1000/180×V

V = 10/1.5 = 6.66mL is required
