a chess board contains 64 equal squares and the area of a square is 6.25 CM square .A border around the board is 2 cm .find the length of the side of the chess board

if there are in total 64 square it means that 18 to 8 is equals to 64 so one of the side of the square is equals to 8 square of equal size obviously now it is given that the area of each square is equals to 6.25 CM square so it means that root over of 6.25 CM square will be equal to 2.5 CM which is equal to the length of one side of the small square so as there are 8 squares on one side of the total big square which is equals to your it into it that gives you the result is 64 square so the length of one side of the square will be equal to how much

it is equals to your 8 into 2.5 cm is equals to 20 CM
