A hen and a Half Hen  can  LAY  ONE egg and a HALF  in a DAY and a HALF.

So multiply by two.

Three hen can lay three eggs  in one and half days.

So one hen lays one egg in one and half days.

We need dozen eggs in six days.

One hen lays one egg in one and half days.
One hen lays four eggs in six days.

Three hen lay twelve eggs in six days.
