volume of cone = volume of sphere

volume of cone = 1/3 × π r²h

volume of sphere = 4/3 πR³

therefore 1/3πr²h = 4/3πR³

=> r²h = 4R³

=> R³ = r²h/4

=> R³ = (6² × 24)/4

=> R³ = 6² × 24/4

=> R³ = 6² × 6

=> R³ = 6³

taking cube root on both sides, we get

=> R = 6 cm

radius of sphere = 6 cm
