A child has 300 bones and adults have 206 bones why ?

A child has 300 bones where as an adult has 206 bones because the bones are divided in many parts where as when the particular child became an adult,  the parts of the same bones will joint with each other and becomes less. That is why, a child has more bones than an adult.
