There are one A and D.

when we roll die there are 6 cases that may occur {A,B,C,D,E,F}

there are one A’s so favorable cases are 1

so probability of getting A is =1/6

similar probability of getting E is =1/6

so the chances would be 1

Given,

A dice with 6 faces.

The dice is thrown once.

To find,

The probability of getting A and D =?

Solution,

It is given that the dice have six faces.

The faces are A, B, C, D, E, and F.

Total number of faces on the dice = 6

No. of faces having A on it = 1

No. of faces having D on it = 1

Therefore,

Probability of getting A,

= No. of faces having A / Total no. of faces = 1/6

Probability of getting D,

=No. of faces having D / Total no. of faces

= 1/6

Hence, the probability of getting A and D  is 1/6.
