The question is answered below-

1. The concept that plants and trees contain life within them can be difficult for a child to be grasped as the plants exhibit no characteristics of moving from one place to another and clarify their living property.

2.  Illustrations of live examples of plants exhibiting movements can be effective to make a child understand that plants have life. Some examples can be to show them the absorption of water when the house plants are watered or the sensory effect of the money plant when they are touched.

3. Further elaborating the importance and necessity of the plants to the child can be constructive.
