A child hears an echo from a cliff 4 seconds after the sound from a powerful
cracher is produced, How far away is the cliff from the child? Given that the speed
of sound is 340
m/s.​

Sound taking 2sec for go and 2sec. for come.

so, time taken to go = 1360/2=680m

t = 4/2

= 2 s

Speed of sound in air (v) = 340 m/s

Distance of cliff from the child = v * t

= 340 * 2

= 680 m
