This is because the human ear can hear only from 20 Hertz to 2000 Hertz...since the sound the approximately or more than 2000 Hertz the child got frightened and ran. This sounds we're received by the auditory receptors of the ears and this information is passed to brain through spinal cord and the child's response was to run and catch his mother
