Answer:

Children may also get MMRV vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (chickenpox). This vaccine is only licensed for use in children who are 12 months through 12 years of age.

Before the measles vaccination program started in 1963, an estimated 3 to 4 million people got measles each year in the United States. Of these, approximately 500,000 cases were reported each year to CDC; of these, 400 to 500 died, 48,000 were hospitalized, and 1,000 developed encephalitis (brain swelling) from measles. Since then, widespread use of measles virus-containing vaccine has led to a greater than 99% reduction in measles cases compared with the pre-vaccine era. However, measles is still common in other countries. Unvaccinated people continue to get measles while abroad and bring the disease into the United States and spread it to others

Concept:

Atmospheric pressure: The pressure exerted by the atmosphere on the surface of an object is called atmospheric pressure. It is measured in bar.

Answer and explanation:

The action of injecting takes place in two parts -

1) Filling the syringe with medicine from the medicine bottle.

2) Injecting it into the patient's body.

1) First of all the needle is put into the medicine bottle. The needle has a small hole through which the medicine enters the syringe. The piston of the syringe is pulled slowly and this action creates an area of low atmospheric pressure inside the syringe and due to this the medicine from the bottle gets filled into the syringe.

2.) While injecting the medicine into the child's body, we will push the piston of the syringe. First of all, the needle of the syringe is pricked in the body of the child and then the piston is pushed. When we push the piston, the liquid medicine inside the syringe is forced to come out of the syringe and as a result, the medicine comes out through the hole of the needle and enters the body of the child.

This is how the medicine enters the syringe and then is injected into the body of the child from the medicine bottle.
