Answer:

answer is 5m/s

Explanation:

given,

mass of body(m)=m

maximum height (h2)= 2meters

minimum height (h1)= 0.75meters

gravitational force(g)=10meter per second

velocity (v)=?

we know that, potential energy = kinetic energy

potential energy (P.E) = mgh2 - mgh1

kinetic energy (K.E)= 1/2mv²

1/2mv²= mgh2-mgh1

1/2mv²=mg(h2-h1)

here ,masses m will cancel

1/2v²=g(h2-h1)

substituting the values given

1/2v²= 10(2-0.75)

1/2v²=10(1.25)

1/2v²= 12.5

transfer the 1/2 to right side

v²=12.5(2)

v²=25

transfer the square to right side

v=√25

v= 5
