A child ran 50 meter in first, 55 m in second, 60 m in fourth and 70 m in fifth minute. find out his average distance covered in five minutes?

U can solve ur question like this
Total distance travelled in 1 ½ hour
= 50 + (&frac; x 32) km
= 66 km
∴ Average speed = Total distance/Total time
= 66/(3/2) = 44 kmph.

First convert 5 min to second then divide each 50,55,60,75 with 5. Then after dividing it, add them all and then again divide it by 5.
Thus u'll be getting ur correct answer.
