A child's standpoint is invariably different from that of an adult.
- Children are not as mentally developed as adults. They don't have various experiences in life that adults possess. Adults have a sense of responsibility and understanding whereas children tend to be careless and live the lives of fantasies.
- Children believe in enjoying life whereas adults understand the real meaning of life. Where children believe in luck, adults know the importance of hard work.
- In the story, Should Wizard Hit Mommy, little Jo thinks that the wizard is a hero and he should hit the stupid mommy back. She wanted that Robert's skunk should smell like roses instead of smelling like other skunks. She is unaware that we should love the way we are and we should not change ourselves for others. This difference in opinion is due to the age factor and reasons of maturity.
