•The forces that making the paper stick onto the wall are 'Adhesive Force' and 'Cohesive Force'

•Adhesive and cohesive forces both play a part in sticking things together

•When paper is stick on the wall, adhesive force acts to make paper stick to the wall and adhesive force to hold paper to glue and cohesive force to hold glue together as well.

The glue has to stick to each of the materials you want to hold together. But the glue also has to stick to itself !

The other occasions where these forces comes into picture are:

Eg.1:
post- it notes.

Eg.2:
Sticky tape

Eg.3:
Bandages

;)
hope it helps
