Answer:

Child Throws a Dice

Probability

a ) Getting 6

Number of total outcomes = 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6

No. of total Outcomes = 6

Number of favourable outcomes = 1 ( 6 )

Probability = No.of favourable outcomes / Total no of outcomes .

Probability = 1 / 6

b ) Getting An even number

Number of Favourable Outcomes = 3 ( 2 , 4 , 6 )

No. of total Outcomes = 6

Probability = 3 / 6

Probability = 1 / 2

c ) getting odd number

Number of Favourable outcomes = 3 ( 1 , 3 , 5 )

No. of total Outcomes = 6

Probability = 3 / 6 = 1 / 2

d ) Getting Number greater than 3

Number of Favourable Outcomes = 3 ( 4 , 5 , 6 )

No.of total Outcomes = 6

Probability = 3 / 6

= 1 / 2
