Answer:
Okay before answering lemme tell you I myself learn these three languages. And now I've become an intermediate learner in Korean.
At first my friends also made fun of me learning an East Asian language. (coz u know more people are attracted to Western languages Spanish, German etc.) But now I don't care about them I just focus on what I've to do... it's your life anyways.
Now second how to convince our parents.
So I was in situation where my father supported me for learning and trying something different from others. It was hard to convince my mother, ik they won't let me join classes for Korean. So I self taught myself to clear all the basics. Trust me you don't require a teacher. I mean there's way more info on internet, YouTube everywhere. there are many free apps to learn Korean. There are free Group chats on discord and other platforms so that you can discuss your doubts. But after I cleared all my basics I gave a test and it was from KCCI (Korean Culture Centre India), and thankfully I was only the one student from my school to cross the level ahead. So they also thought I had a potential in Korean. (I'm just basic in Japanese and Chinese) So you've to prove your parents as well. Never give up....
I can give you many tips for Korean if you want, we've a group chat on discord for learning Korean tell me I'll send you link...
