A chip used in a microcomputer contains 5.74 x 10-3g of silicon. Calculate the number of silicon atoms in the chip. [ Si = 28; Avogadros constant 6.02 x 1023]

vidaekugo: sorry i forgot to add this[Zn = 65, C = 12, O = 16, H = 1, Cl = 35.5]

Answer:

12341 x 10^16

Explanation:

mole= weight in gm/ molecular weight

no. of atoms = mole X Avogadros constant

mole = 5.74 x 10^-3 / 28 = 0.205 x 10^-3 mole

no. of atoms =   0.205 x 10^-3 x 6.02 x 10^23 = 12341 x 10^16
