Answer:

From the first chord, let’s find the radius of the circle using pythagoras theorem

Radius = rt. (24^2+7^2) = 25cm

In second chord, let’s find it’s half length using Pythagoras theorem

= rt.(25^2-15^2)= 20cm

So, the length of the second chord= 2x20cm =40cm Ans.
