area of sector = theta/ 360 × πr^2
thus, 120/360 × 3.14 × 900 ..........….......since 30^ 2=900

thus,1/3 × 314× 9
thus,area = 314 × 3 cm^2
=942
thus the area of the sector is 942 sq.cm
