AB = BO …(i)

Join OA, AC and BC.

Since, OA = OB= Radius of circle

OA = AS = BO

As we know, angle subtended by a chord at the center is twice the angle subtended by it at any other point on the major axis.

As all angles are of 60° (equilateral triangle)

.: the angle subtended by this chord at a point in major segment:-

60/2=30°
