A chord of a circle of radius 10cm subtends a right angle at the centre. What is the length length of the chord.

Answer:-

Radius is = 10cm

So ,

Applying phythogorus

in ∆Aop

Ap = √10² + 10²

Ap = √200

Ap = 10√2

 =  >  {(ab)}^{2}  =  {(oa)}^{2}  +  {(ob)}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  {x}^{2}  =  {10}^{2}  +  {10}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  {x}^{2}  = 100 + 100 \\  \\  =  >  {x}^{2}   = 200 \\  \\  =  > x =  \sqrt{200}  \\  \\  = x = 14.14

Hence,

The length of chord is 14.14 cm.
